Since I discovered Morocco few years ago I have made it a personal decision to visit this beautiful and diverse country at least one time every year. All of Morroco is indeed an amazing place to explore, like stepping into a real-life storybook! Whilst all of Morocco is worth visiting, the following cities greatly caught my attention and I would totally recommend to visitors;
Marrakesh: Imagine bustling marketplaces (souks), colorful gardens, and lively street performers. It’s super exciting! Marakesh is no doubt one of the precious jewels of Morocco, nestled in history, art, culture and magnificent structures. Marrakesh promises a spectacular experience to visitors.
Chefchaouen: Step into the blue city with wonderful blend of historical and modern architecture. Not forgetting the waterfall at the outskirts of Chefchaouen. Chafchaouen is indeed a chef’s kis for Morocco.
Casablanca: A modern city with beautiful mosques and cool beaches.
Tangier: Where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean, with a mix of cultures.
Agafay: A desert landscape that is like being on another planet. A great place for stargazing.
Fez: A really old city with winding streets and ancient buildings.
Essaouira: A breezy coastal town with colorful fishing boats and fun water sports.
Cool Things to See and Do:
Historical Sites: You can explore ancient palaces, old medinas (city centers), and fascinating ruins.
Delicious Food: Try tasty tagines (slow-cooked stews), flavorful couscous, and sweet mint tea. Yummy!
Fun Activities: Ride camels in the desert, try surfing at the beach, or shop for unique souvenirs.
Riads: Stay in beautiful, traditional Moroccan houses with lovely courtyards. They’re super cozy!
Affordability: Morocco can be a budget-friendly place to travel, meaning you can experience a lot without spending a lot of money.
Morocco is a place where you can have exciting adventures and learn about a whole new culture. It’s a trip you’ll never forget!
